For its 3rd annual Student Environmental Art Challenge, ACAP Humber Arm challenged kindergarten to grade six students from around the Bay of Islands to use their imaginations with the topic "I went for a submarine ride in the Bay of Islands and this is what I saw."
The deadline for submissions is May 25th, 2007. All the students submissions will form an environmental art exhibit, open for public viewing at the Pepsi Centre, Corner Brook, during Environment Week, June 4th - 9th.
One young emerging artist and environmentalist will be awarded a 26inch aluminum frame Trek Mountain Bike and Helmet courtesy of Newfoundland Power.
