This booklet has been designed specifically for the Trading Books For Boats program.  It is linked directly to the learning outcomes of the grade nine science program, as prescribed by the Newfoundland and Labrador Department of Education.  As such, this workbook can be used by teachers as an evaluation tool for their students who complete the Trading Books For Boats program.

10 posters have been developed to compliment the learning stations that are established as part of the Trading Books For Boats program.  While linked directly to the program these posters also serve a dual purpose  in serving as a general education tool as well.  Posters are available on the topics of:
Given the immense success of the Trading Books For Boats program many groups have expressed an interest in establishing a similar program in their regions.  ACAP Humber Arm has developed a "How To" guide to assist such groups and is willing to work with those groups to adapt and establish a program specific to their region.
